Brief description The design of this polymer banknote is dedicated to classic English literature, the cultural heritage of Great Britain, and the global recognition of women's contribution to the arts. The visual composition blends grand religious architecture with imagery celebrating the nation's intellectual and literary history.

Obverse: The right side features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, with the title of the Bank of England and the traditional promissory clause for ten pounds positioned in the center. To the left of the center, a transparent security window integrates an image of Winchester Cathedral—the final resting place of the celebrated author. A holographic security element is located below the window, where the text alternates between the words "Ten" and "Pounds" when tilted.

Reverse: The back showcases a central bust of Jane Austen, one of the world's most enduring novelists. To the right of her portrait is the clear window featuring the image of a tower.
