Brief description The visual design of this compact banknote from the first Belarusian rouble series combines a rich faunal theme with a deep historical and heraldic context. The layout creates a meaningful contrast between the local wildlife on the front and ancient state symbolism on the back.

Obverse: The central vignette features a heartwarming animalistic scene showing an adult Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) alongside its young kitten. The text «ДЗЕСЯЦЬ РУБЛЁЎ» is placed near the top, with a large numerical denomination «10» centered directly above the wild cats.

Reverse: The center features the historical "Pahonia" coat of arms — a warrior on horseback wielding a sword and shield, which served as the official emblem of the Republic of Belarus in the early years of independence and is historically rooted in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The top area bears the standard anti-counterfeiting text: «ПАДРОБКА РАЗЛІКОВЬІХ БІЛЕТАЎ НАЦЫЯНАЛЬНАГА БАНКА БЕЛАРУСІ ПРАСЛЕДУЕЦЦА ПА ЗАКОНУ». A bold numeral «10» occupies the middle, while the lower margin displays «РАЗЛІКОВЫ БІЛЕТ НАЦЫЯНАЛЬНАГА БАНКА БЕЛАРУСІ» and the series year.

Watermark: A geometric pattern composed of interlocking "S" shapes.
