Brief description The visual layout of this banknote celebrates prominent rulers and historic military triumphs of the Kingdom of Thailand. Issued as part of Series 16, this 100 Baht note is produced on a paper substrate. The dimensions of the note are 150 x 72 mm. All inscriptions are written in the Thai script.

Obverse: The front displays a red design over a multicolored underprint featuring a portrait of King Rama IX (Bhumibol Adulyadej) dressed in the royal House of Chakri gown. It includes official inscriptions from the Thai government declaring the note as legal tender, alongside the denomination displayed in both Arabic and Thai numerals.

Reverse: The back is dedicated to the era of King Taksin the Great (King of Thonburi). The central composition depicts the monarch on horseback as a royal statue, alongside a scene where the king is mobilizing his troops for battle during wartime. The background features depictions of the Thonburi Palace and the Wichai Prasit Fort. A legal warning concerning counterfeiting penalties is placed at the bottom.

Security Features & Substrate: Manufactured on high-quality security paper by the Bank of Thailand Note Printing Works. The primary protective feature embedded within the substrate is a localized watermark showing King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) facing front in his royal Chakri robes. The protective layout also includes microtext, a security thread, and fluorescent elements.
