Brief description The design of this banknote is dedicated to the formation of modern Serbian culture, literature, and linguistics, focusing on the reformer of the script and prominent figures of the national revival.

Obverse: The central focal point is a portrait of Vuk Stefanović Karadžić, an eminent Serbian philologist, linguist, and reformer of the Serbian language. Positioned next to the portrait are his writing kit, an open book (exhibits from the Museum of Vuk Karadžić and Dositej Obradović), and three letters of the modern Serbian alphabet. In the background behind the letters, the figure of Filip Višnjić, a famous blind epic poet and guslar, is depicted.

Reverse: The back features a full-length figure of Vuk Karadžić (photographic detail) and a silhouette silhouette of the participants of the First Slavic Congress held in Prague. The composition is complemented by a vignette of letters, and the Great Coat of Arms of the Republic of Serbia is placed in the top left corner against an ochre background.

Watermark: A localized portrait of Vuk Stefanović Karadžić.

Topical Collecting Themes: Prominent linguists, philologists, and script reformers (Vuk Karadžić), poets, minstrels, and epic storytellers (Filip Višnjić), books and writing on currency, Slavic history and congresses, state heraldry (coat of arms of Serbia), banknotes of the Balkan region.
