Brief description This 100 Pesos banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Guinea-Bissau as part of the 1990–1993 series. It was demonetized on July 31, 1997.

Main features: The banknote is made of paper and measures 125 by 63 mm.

Obverse design: Olive-gray color on a multicolor underprint. It features a portrait of Domingos Ramos on the right, carving on the left, and the coat of arms at the lower right.

Reverse design: Green and gray colors on a multicolor underprint. It depicts the National Bank building in Bissau at the center.

Security elements: Watermark of a repeating large "BCG".

Production and signatures: The note was printed by De La Rue (London, United Kingdom). It bears the signatures of Minister Governor Pedro A. Godinho Gomes and Vice Governor José Lima Barber.

Textual elements: The reverse includes the inscription: "The law punishes the counterfeiter".
