Brief description The visual design of this compact banknote from the first Belarusian rouble series is dedicated to the ultimate living symbol of Eastern Europe's ancient woodlands — the majestic European bison. The layout harmoniously integrates a prominent wildlife theme with a deep historical and heraldic context, creating a meaningful contrast between the local fauna on the front and ancient state symbolism on the back.

Obverse: The central vignette features a realistic animalistic scene depicting a powerful wisent (European bison) set against its natural habitat. The text «СТО РУБЛЁЎ» is placed near the top, with a large numerical denomination «100» positioned to the left directly above the wild beast.

Reverse: The center features the historical "Pahonia" coat of arms — a warrior on horseback wielding a sword and shield, which served as the official emblem of the Republic of Belarus in the early years of independence and is historically rooted in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The top area bears the standard anti-counterfeiting text: «ПАДРОБКА РАЗЛІКОВЬІХ БІЛЕТАЎ НАЦЫЯНАЛЬНАГА БАНКА БЕЛАРУСІ ПРАСЛЕДУЕЦЦА ПА ЗАКОНУ». A bold numeral «100» occupies the middle, while the lower margin displays «РАЗЛІКОВЫ БІЛЕТ НАЦЫЯНАЛЬНАГА БАНКА БЕЛАРУСІ» and the series year.
