Brief description Obverse: Portrait of King Wladyslaw II Jagiello. In the background on both sides of it are stylized elements of Gothic ornamentation. Issuer (NARODOWY BANK POLSKI), denomination (100 STO ZŁOTYCH), place and issue date (WARSZAWA 5 STYCZNIA 2012 r.), officials' signatures. Designer: Andrzej Heidrich. Engraver: Henry Stanley Doubtfire. Translation: National Bank of Poland, Warsaw, 100 Zlotys.

Reverse: The reverse side is decorated with the White Eagle on a shield of the coat of arms from the king's tombstone. Below the shield are a helmet, a Teutonic mantle and two swords referring to the victorious Battle of Grunwald in 1410. To the left of the shield is the outline of the castle in Malbork - the biggest castle by land area in the world. Lettering regarding legal tender status (BANKNOTY EMITOWANE PRZEZ NARODOWY BANK POLSKI SĄ PRAWNYM ŚRODKIEM PŁATNICZYM W POLSCE), denomination, and issuer.
