Brief description The visual layout of this banknote celebrates the origins of Mongolian statehood and the traditional nomadic lifestyle of the Great Khans' era. Issued during the modern Republic era, this 1000 Tögrög note is produced on a paper substrate. The dimensions of the note are 150 x 72 mm. The inscriptions on the front are written in the traditional vertical Mongolian script, while the back features the Mongolian language in the Cyrillic alphabet.

Obverse: The front features a prominent portrait of Genghis Khan (Chingis Khaan), born as Temüjin, the historic founder and first Great Khan of the Mongol Empire. To the right of his portrait is the National Coat of Arms of Mongolia, alongside a depiction of a Paiza (Gerege) — a tablet of authority and official passport that enabled Mongol nobles and envoys to demand goods and services from civilians. A security hologram is integrated at the bottom right.

Reverse: The back showcases a multicolored blue and orange print layout. The central vignette features a historic scene depicting a traditional nomadic yurt (ger) mounted on a large cart and drawn by a team of oxen. The top section features the inscription "МОНГОЛ УЛС" (State of Mongolia), followed by the official title of the central bank, "МОНГОЛБАНК", and the 1000 Tögrög denomination.

Security Features & Substrate: Manufactured on high-quality security paper. The primary protective element embedded within the substrate is a localized watermark also depicting the portrait of Genghis Khan. The banknote's defensive layout is enhanced by the specialized security hologram at the bottom right, microprinting, fluorescent properties, and distinct serial numbering.
