Brief description The design of this banknote is dedicated to Austrian Biedermeier art, classical painting, and one of the world's most prominent art galleries. The visual style highlights Vienna's rich cultural and museum heritage.

Obverse: The right side of the composition features a portrait of Moritz Michael Daffinger, an eminent 19th-century Austrian portrait painter and miniaturist. The Federal Coat of Arms of the Republic of Austria (the single-headed eagle with severed chains) is positioned in the upper left corner. The background is adorned with fine protective guilloche elements.

Reverse: The back depicts the facade of the Albertina Museum in Vienna, home to one of the world's most significant and largest collections of graphic arts, drawings, and old master prints from the Renaissance to the modern era.

Watermark: A stylized variation of the Austrian Coat of Arms.

Topical Collecting Themes: Prominent world artists, painters, and miniaturists (Moritz Daffinger), Viennese architecture, art museums and galleries (Albertina Museum), state heraldry (coat of arms of Austria), masterpieces by the legendary designer Robert Kalina, pre-Euro banknotes of Western Europe.
