Brief description The design of this banknote is dedicated to key historical figures and the region's fortification heritage. The issue demonstrates the official design of the Transnistrian Republican Bank, used for regular currency circulation. The note size is 129 by 56 mm.

Obverse: The central figure is a portrait of General Alexandr Vasilievič Suvorov, who is considered the founder of Tiraspol. The design includes the state name of the region and the name of the issuing bank, rendered in three languages: Russian, Ukrainian, and Moldavian (Cyrillic script). The denomination is indicated by the digits "25" and the words "ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ".

Reverse: The composition is based on an image of the Tighina Castle (Bender Fortress), a prominent architectural and historical landmark, as well as the Russian Soldiers memorial. The lower part of the banknote features an official legal warning stating that the forgery of Transnistrian Bank banknotes is punishable by law.

Security elements and substrate: The banknote is printed on specialized banknote paper. The watermark features a portrait of Empress Catherine II the Great and an electrotype "ПРБ". The 2007–2012 issue includes a metallized anti-counterfeiting security thread, the type of which was modified in the 2012 version compared to the early release.
