Obverse: Portraits of Kings Mohammed VI, Hassan II, and Mohammed V, which also appear on a holographic stripe; printed royal crown with color-changing ink depending on the angle of view. Arabic script. Lettering: issuer, denomination, and occasion (بنك المغرب, خمسون درهما, الذكرى الخمسون لبنك المغرب, 1430-2009).

Reverse: Thumbnail representing the Bank Al-Maghrib headquarters in Rabat; windowed security thread changing color from pink to green, featuring "Bank Al-Maghrib" in Arabic letters and the number "50".
