Features
Brief description The visual design of this miniature banknote reflects the initial stage of the nation's independent monetary system and its early state symbolism. This fractional note denominated in kopeks belongs to the "First Rouble" series (popularly known as the "Zaychiki" or animal series) and has been fully demonetized. The dimensions of the note are 105 x 53 mm.

Obverse: The central motif showcases an artistic rendering of the Eurasian Red Squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris) perched on a branch. Due to this and other animal designs, the entire 1992 Belarusian currency issue earned the popular nickname "Zaychiki" (bunnies). The denomination appears above as “ПЯЦЬДЗЕСЯТ КАПЕЕК”, with the numeral “50” and the word “КАПЕЕК” repeated in the bottom right corner.

Reverse: The center features the historical "Pahonia" (Chase) coat of arms depicting a charging warrior on horseback, which served as the official emblem of the Republic of Belarus from 1991 to 1995 and originates from the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The bottom bears the text “РАЗЛІКОВЫ БІЛЕТ НАЦЫЯНАЛЬНАГА БАНКА БЕЛАРУСІ” along with the series year. A standard legal warning against currency counterfeiting is also present on the field.

Security Features & Substrate: The note is printed on a small-format, lightweight paper substrate without a security thread. Its security framework consists of geometric background underprints, UV-fluorescent protective fibers, and a distinctive local watermark composed of repeating forward "S" and backward "Ƨ" patterns.
