Features
Brief description Obverse: Portrait of Sergio Osmeña. The substrate consists of a unique paper blend: 80% cotton fiber and 20% abacá fiber (Manila hemp). This composition provides exceptional resistance to tearing and folding compared to standard cotton substrates.

Reverse: Depiction of Taal Lake and the Maliputo (Caranx ignobilis) fish. Printed at the Security Plant Complex using high-precision multi-color offset technology, ensuring sharp geometric definition of the Batangas province weave patterns.

Why add to collection: The integration of abacá fibers is a technical innovation that significantly enhances the physical durability of the note during circulation. It represents an engineering-led approach to banknote production, where the material composition directly optimizes structural longevity and integrity.
