Brief description The visual design of this modern banknote is dedicated to the world-famous architectural heritage of the Grodno Region and the themes of classical art and literature. The note was designed by artist Svetlana Nekrasova and printed by the Goznak security printing house in the Russian Federation. The dimensions of the note are 147 x 72 mm.

Obverse: The central composition features the magnificent Mir Castle (located in the settlement of Mir, Grodno Region) — an outstanding 16th-century monument of Belarusian defensive architecture that harmoniously blends Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque styles, and is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. All inscriptions are written in the Cyrillic script using the Belarusian language. The denomination appears on the left and below as “ПЯЦЬДЗЯСЯТ РУБЛЁЎ” and numeral “50”. It also bears the issuing bank's name “НАЦЫЯНАЛЬНЫ БАНК РЭСПУБЛІКІ БЕЛАРУСЬ” and the original series design year.

Reverse: Features an artistic collage dedicated entirely to the theme of art, music, and poetry. The composition includes a classical lyre paired with laurel twigs (symbols of glory and poetic triumph), a traditional quill pen, a sheet of paper, and a musical stave (staff). The denomination is indicated below as “50 РУБЛЁЎ”.

Security Features & Substrate: The note is printed on a specialized high-quality paper substrate. This upgraded modification features a wide, windowed metallic security strip, intricate geometric underprints, and a local half-tone watermark depicting the Mir Castle paired with a bright electrotype “50”. The note includes advanced security attributes, including elements active under ultraviolet light.
