It is devoted to the decorative and ornamental art of Petrykivka painting, whose name comes from the village of Petrykivka (Dnipropetrovs'k region). This original art has long traditions and is passed down from generation to generation. In 2013, the Petrykivka painting was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The obverse of the coin features: on the left - the small State Emblem of Ukraine, below which is the inscription UKRAINE and the year of minting 2016, on the right - the denomination - 10 UAH, a stylized composition: a color fragment of the Petrykivka painting on a mirror background (tampon printing was used)
The reverse of the coin depicts a stylized composition against a mirror background: an artist framed by a Petrykivka painting, with the inscription PETRYKIVSKYI PAPER in a semicircle on the left.
